Serve Your Community
Serve Your Community
Take the time to serve locally! Mentor a child, serve food at the soup kitchen or meet the needs of your neighbors in the name of Christ. The opportunities to serve right outside our door are endless!

Below are addition opportunities to consider:
1. Love INC
Love INC, located in Hudsonville, MI, works to support Christians in bringing God's love and care into our communities by mobilizing churches to meet the unmet needs of individuals and families. In doing this we will seek to know God better, to demonstrate the power of Jesus' love, and to witness to the only source that can make us effective -- the love that God has for all people.
2. United In Christ GR
We find many practical ways to serve the community of the Black Hills, and offer multiple ministries and programs that impact many kids and adults in this area. However, if the gospel of Jesus Christ is not the cornerstone of what we are doing, we believe strongly that it serves no “eternal” purpose, and we intentionally pray that it would fail.
3. Mel Trotter Ministries
Mel Trotter Ministries provides shelter, food, clothing, education, biblical studies, computer-based learning, and work training and experience for men and women in need throughout our community. To help those with drug and alcohol addictions, we also offer a state-licensed substance abuse recovery program.
4. Guiding Light Ministries
In the heart of Grand Rapids, a few blocks from burgeoning urban developments and a growing community of business professionals, exists one of the poorest neighborhoods in Grand Rapids. The Heartside Neighborhood is both racially and culturally diverse, and its neighbors represent the greatest cross section of homeless and destitute citizens of Kent County.
5. The Other Way
The Other Way is a Christian ministry that walks alongside Westown urban families as they strive to grow spiritually, relationally, and economically.
6. The Salvation Army
